Part VI · The Words

A glossary that explains, then defines.

Every term gets a plain-English line first, and the precise line second. Filter by level, by track, or just start typing what you actually saw on the screen.

How to use it

Read the first line and stop, if that is enough.

The plain line is written for someone who is worried right now. The precise line is written for someone who has to make a decision, or explain one to an auditor. The example is there because a definition without an example is a bookmark, not an understanding.

Where a term traces to a published standard, the source is linked on the entry. If a term has no source link, it is our own operational language and it is labelled by its absence, not dressed up.
